Inviro Engineered Systems Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As an employee of Inviro Engineered Systems, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects in the ICI sector and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and complete load calculations, schematics, and equipment selection for mechanical systems.
  2. Prepare contract documents, including specifications, for mechanical systems.
  3. Evaluate shop drawing reviews and ensure compliance with ASHRAE and LEED standards.
  4. Coordinate with other disciplines, both internally and externally, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Engage in meetings with clients, contractors, and other consultants to discuss project reports and findings.
  6. Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of mechanical system problems.
  7. Create technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches to support project deliverables.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for industrial, commercial, and/or institutional buildings is required.
  • Strong background knowledge in building design with an emphasis on mechanical systems is required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete deliverables is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with the LEED accreditation process is an asset.
