The Role: Visual Effects Animator

As a Visual Effects Animator at Framestore, you will contribute to producing high-quality animations that enhance storytelling and action sequences in films. You'll collaborate with a team of talented professionals, contributing your creative insights to elevate the final product.

  • Develop compelling and visually engaging animations
  • Collaborate effectively with lead animators and animation supervisors
  • Work diligently within established deadlines and schedules
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with the production team
  • Stay current on emerging tools and technologies in the field

Requirements

  • Proven experience in animation
  • Mastery of Maya software
  • Solid understanding of fundamental animation principles
  • Knowledge of rigging processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Mel or Python
  • Experience working with motion capture data
  • Knowledge of anatomy and traditional art principles
