Job Title: Visual Effects Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Visual Effects Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality real-time visual effects for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Directors, Leads, Designers, and Engineering teams to create high-quality visual effects.
  • Design and implement FX assets using EA's proprietary game engine.
  • Manage In-Game Particle Effects for action-adventure games.
  • Balance technical and aesthetic considerations for the project's visual effect art style.
Qualifications:
  • 7 years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience shipping high-quality console games.
  • Strong knowledge of game and level design, cinematics, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Frostbite.
  • Experience with Unity Visual Graph Editor or Unreal Niagara.
  • Knowledge of substance.
Portfolio Requirements:

A link to your portfolio must be included with your application/resume. Your portfolio should contain a breakdown of the work and include examples of natural and organic effects, fantastical effects animation, rigid or soft body dynamics, effects created in a game engine, and modeling, texturing, and lighting.
