About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Points West Living Stetler Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, such as taking vital signs and serving meal trays
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by making beds and performing other housekeeping duties
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle habits
  • Administer medications and perform other medical procedures as required
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting patients
