Comprises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who excel in delivering exceptional service by showing compassion and empathy towards our residents, their families, and fellow team members. We adopt a holistic, resident-focused approach to care, ensuring personalized services of the highest standard.

Your role in making a difference

LPNs are tasked with providing structured, patient-centered, goal-oriented nursing care that aligns with provincial care standards.

As essential members of our interdisciplinary team, LPNs foster trusted relationships with residents, families, and colleagues through effective and ongoing communication.

LPNs are responsible for implementing and assessing the effectiveness of care plans, making necessary adjustments as needed.

They ensure that residents' clinical care assessments, care plans, and documentation are precise, current, and communicate any changes promptly.

LPNs also guide, delegate, and mentor unregulated care providers, offering them support and coaching.

What YOU bring to the table

  • Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the relevant province
  • Proven clinical expertise
  • Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers is preferred
  • Background in gerontology, rehabilitation, or community/complex/long-term care is advantageous
  • A strong commitment to teamwork and customer service, with the ability to build trust
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with critical thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
  • Recent Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or willingness to obtain one
