Job Summary

Yanar Homes Inc. is seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. As a Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot and noisy environments.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
