LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is in search of a Medical Lab Technologist to become a vital part of our Mid Low Chemistry division.

Our Medical Lab Technologists are responsible for delivering precise and prompt diagnostic specimen analysis and reporting. By ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in test results, you will play a crucial role in improving patient health and outcomes. This position is ideal for a meticulous, hands-on professional who excels in a dynamic, collaborative setting.

This is a casual position requiring availability for flexible shifts throughout the week, including days, evenings, and nights, promoting a healthy work/life balance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Executing a diverse array of diagnostic and interpretive specimen tests Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting results while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Recognizing incidents and discrepancies, contributing to the development of effective corrective measures, and fostering continuous improvement. Assisting in the assessment and integration of new technologies. Engaging in problem-solving related to workflow and work organization.

Are You the Right Candidate?

LifeLabs is looking for a Registered Technologist with CSMLS certification who can collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment while upholding LifeLabs' standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Do you possess:

A college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience. Strong communication skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals. Proficient computer skills and knowledge. Problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify and address issues. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality.

Compensation Range: $32.99 to $40.70

The compensation range has been established, but the final salary will be determined based on experience, educational requirements, market conditions, and internal equity.
