LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting. Your expertise will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, and participate in corrective action plans
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality standards
