Job Title: Power Supply Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Supply Design Engineer to join our team at Scalian, a multinational engineering consulting firm with 5500 specialists in 11 countries.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing high-frequency, high-efficiency power supplies and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for space applications. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and a great benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-frequency power supplies and PCBs for space applications
  • Apply knowledge of electronic circuits and ultra-high efficiency EPC design using synchronous rectifier MOS transistors
  • Conduct analyses (FMECA, WCA, EMC, power budget analysis, etc.) and ensure compliance with satellite design requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing and testing requirements
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of EPC boards and units
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Three to ten years of experience designing high-frequency power supplies and PCBs
  • Good understanding of electronic circuits and ultra-high efficiency EPC design using synchronous rectifier MOS transistors
  • Knowledge of space radiation effects on parts is an asset
  • Lab experience with electronic circuits and laboratory instrumentation
  • Proficient experience in schematic entry
