About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Supply Design Engineer to join our team at Scalian, a multinational engineering consulting firm with a strong presence in the aerospace and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-frequency, high-efficiency power supplies and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for space applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets satellite design requirements and space radiation effects
  • Perform design simulations, analyses, and testing to ensure PCBs meet performance and reliability standards
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and bill of materials
  • Work with suppliers to source components and manage part qualifications for space
  • Support manufacturing and testing activities, including environmental and functional testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 3-10 years of experience designing high-frequency power supplies and PCBs for space applications
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, ultra-high efficiency EPC design, and synchronous rectifier MOS transistors
  • Experience with PCB manufacturing processes, design tools, and laboratory instrumentation
  • Knowledge of satellite design requirements, radiation effects, and high-reliability design principles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
