Long Term Occasional Teaching Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to fill a Long Term Occasional (LTO) position at St. Hilary Catholic School in Red Rock. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Indigenous language and culture to students in a Catholic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Indigenous language and culture to students in a Catholic educational setting
- Implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education
- Integrate the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Current membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior/Intermediate qualifications
- Indigenous Language Instructor's Program
- Fluency in Ojibwe, both oral and written (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administrators
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
