We are seeking a qualified Occasional Elementary Teacher to join our team at the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a part-time, long-term occasional teaching position.
About the BoardThe Keewatin-Patricia District School Board serves the educational needs of approximately 5,000 students across 17 elementary and 6 secondary schools in Northwestern Ontario. Our board is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction and support to students in a part-time, long-term occasional teaching position
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and a strong understanding of elementary education principles and practices. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
