Director, Human Resources

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our senior leadership team as Director, Human Resources. This key role will play a vital part in shaping and executing our organizational culture, vision, and strategy to best serve youth from lower-income households.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies to support the achievement of key performance targets
  • Establish and maintain enhanced HR practices to support operational functions and a galvanized Foundation team
  • Collaborate with staff to shape, communicate, and implement the Foundation's organizational culture, vision, values, and strategy
  • Lead the HR function, including health and safety, performance management, talent management, training and development, compensation, benefits, recruitment and selection, organizational effectiveness and development, change management, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation planning and administration, and payroll
Requirements:
  • Progressive and senior HR generalist experience, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Strong HR generalist skills, combined with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
  • Results-oriented and able to balance strategic responsibilities with day-to-day tactical responsibilities
  • Strong project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • University/College degree in Human Resources or equivalent, combined with a CHRL or CHRE
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual French/English skills are an asset
