About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Alpha 1 Transport Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to support the company's objectives.
  • Office Operations: Establish and maintain office procedures and routines to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for company personnel.
  • Communication: Answer and relay telephone calls, messages, and emails in a professional manner.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents with attention to detail.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a large workload.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, flexibility, team player, client focus, reliability, time management, and adaptability.
