Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our Consumer Fuels Division team at our south Windermere location in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and may be involved in the planning for the direction of their site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Execution and Planning: Be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and may be involved in the planning for the direction of their site.
  2. Business Performance: Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support North Central Co-op's vision.
  3. Quality and Service: Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate the site team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of retail experience (preferably in the consumer gas industry).
  • Familiarity with merchandising.
  • Honesty and trustworthiness, with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to excellence.
  • The ability to build relationships and collaborate to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
