This position is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise students on the bus, maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure of students, adhering to established schedules.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of student transportation, including attendance and incident reports.
- Collaborate with school administrators and other transportation staff to address any issues or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a school bus driver certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.
The work environment is a standard school bus, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
