Meat Cutting and Packaging Expert

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Howard Johnson by Wyndham. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meat: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Cut and Trim Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for our menu offerings.
- Package and Label Meat: Wrap and package prepared meats, ensuring accurate labeling and presentation.
- Remove Bones and Trimmings: Remove bones from meat and trim excess fat and connective tissue.
- Cut Poultry and Fish: Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish for cooking.
- Grind and Slice Meat: Grind meats and slice cooked meats for our menu items.
- Prepare Special Orders: Prepare special orders for guests, including custom cuts and packaging.
- Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting high-volume production demands and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Work Setting: Large restaurant and hotel environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
