ROLE SUMMARY

As an integral member of the Quality Assurance team, the Senior QA Integration Test Engineer will spearhead the system integration testing strategy for one of Safe Fleet's software product lines. This position entails developing comprehensive testing strategies for intricate workflows and system integrations.

This role is hands-on and technical, requiring direct involvement in test planning, execution, and automation development. In the test planning phase, you will collaborate with Software QA professionals and software developers to create test strategies, scenarios, and cases.

We employ a QA Assisted model, where software developers actively participate in testing, sharing accountability for quality outcomes.

In terms of test automation, you will promote the use of automation tools and processes, address organization-wide automation challenges, create self-service tools that empower scrum teams to engage in test automation, and assist in implementing complex test automation scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Voice of Quality, ensuring adherence to QA processes while adapting them as necessary.
  • Lead the creation of test plans, regression test suites, and testing strategies; oversee their execution and ongoing refinement.
  • Establish project testing acceptance criteria, offering informed go/no-go recommendations for product releases.
  • Develop Functional and System Integration Test Scenarios based on Business Requirements and user stories analysis.
  • Support production teams in replicating and resolving production issues.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing to verify that all project deliverables meet product specifications.
  • Provide automation solutions to enhance integration testing efforts and end-to-end workflow testing.
  • Champion the standardization of automation practices across all products within the product family.
  • Manage and prioritize the overall automation backlog.
  • Ensure critical product areas are automated effectively to deliver business value.
  • Offer technical guidance and support regarding technology decisions, automation testing, scripting efforts, and development initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members while overseeing the delivery of commitments across the team.

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000/year
