Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware products. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for various software and hardware applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of automated testing frameworks.
- Document test results and create detailed reports on software quality.
- Ensure the software functionality, performance, stability, and reliability meet business and user requirements.
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related program.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience working in a cross-functional team including hardware and software engineers would be an asset.
- Ability to focus and drive tasks/projects to completion.
- Experience working with hybrid, local, and remote software development teams would be an asset.
