About the Role

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd., through its PacLease EKW Calgary division, is seeking a dedicated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck Technician. This role focuses on performing essential maintenance tasks according to industry and manufacturer standards. You'll contribute to ensuring smooth operations by preparing accurate service documentation and delivering high-quality work under the guidance of experienced supervisors.

Your Responsibilities

  • Effectively adjust equipment, repairing or replacing faulty parts, components, or systems as needed.
  • Install new or replacement parts with precision, adhering to provided specifications.
  • Thoroughly test repaired equipment to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the completion of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and modifications for trucks and assigned vehicles.
  • Stay current with industry advancements by actively participating in training opportunities as they become available.

What We Look For

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Certification with a proven track record in heavy truck maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working within a heavy duty truck fleet or repair shop environment.
  • Possession of a valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license is considered advantageous.
