Heavy Duty Lead Hand Truck Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Lead Hand Truck Technician to join our team at Maxim Truck and Trailer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs and/or services on heavy-duty trucks to ensure customer satisfaction and profits for Maxim.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks to ensure customer satisfaction and profits for Maxim
  • Work as a member of our team to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Cummins Insite, Navistar, and ABS control systems
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to complete repairs and services
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals

Requirements:

  • 4th year apprentice to Journeyman certification
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic experience using Cummins Insite, Navistar, and ABS control systems
  • Able to sign Alberta safety's/CVIP
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
  • Valid Class 3 or Class 1 with clean abstract is an asset
  • Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
  • Ability to work within a team
