The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Food Services team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and appropriate nutrition assessment, management, and support for clients and communities in Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Key Responsibilities- Apply nutrition and dietetic theory, key knowledge, and critical thinking skills to improve the health of clients and residents of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
- Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods, and action to be taken on unusual matters.
- Function in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
- Baccalaureate from an accredited University with a major in Human Nutritional Sciences or equivalent.
- Dietetic Internship Certificate from an accredited program.
- Registered Dietitian; must be a registered member of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba (CDM).
- Member of Dietitians of Canada recommended.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Dietitian or in a nutrition-related profession.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with populations with diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate.
- All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority policy.
- Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
