Fund Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage client-related issues, including trade processing, fund valuation, fee calculations, and investor reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of client and investor reports with fund offering documents and service level agreements
  • Provide training and mentorship to fund and senior accountants
  • Address product, technical, and procedural challenges raised by fund accountants
  • Enhance efficiency and throughput by streamlining operational processes
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your direct manager or other SS&C management

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Extensive experience in hedge fund/private equity fund or investment accounting
  • Comprehensive understanding of Canadian, U.S., and international investment characteristics, including both common and exotic assets
  • Experience with IFRS investment funds financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A post-secondary degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
