Parts Manager

Thermo King Eastern Canada is seeking a highly skilled Parts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the overall dealer inventory and parts department.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage dealer inventory and parts department
- Prepare and perform yearly performance reviews
- Onboard and train new employees in the parts department
- Ensure department paperwork is processed on a timely basis
- Maintain organized files, records, and logs
- Support staff and direct floor activity to provide excellent customer service
- Place bi-weekly stock-orders
- Oversee proper shipping and receiving of orders
- Manage obsolete stock and handle returns from TK Corp and local vendors
- Perform, supervise, and support parts billing activities
- Oversee warranty returns processes
- Monitor parts consumption/usage to ensure adequate supplies are on hand
- Serve as primary contact for customer order fulfillment and follow-up
- College program in logistics, inventory/purchasing, or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry and temperature control equipment
- Previous experience in a parts department (automotive, OEM, trucking/transportation)
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience leading a team
- Health and safety experience (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
