Caretakers - On Call Casual Position

Caretakers are responsible for performing general custodial services and related duties as assigned in a timely process, ensuring the buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
Key Responsibilities- Use of various cleaning equipment
- Vacuuming, spot cleaning, damp and dry dusting, polishing, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Disposing of garbage, cleaning washrooms, and replacing lightbulbs
- Minimum of Grade 10 completion
- Building Service Worker Certificate from a recognized college/institution
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including climbing ladders and scaffolds and some heavy lifting
This is an on-call casual unionized position, offering $28.48 an hour plus 16% in lieu of benefits.
