Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Designer Brands. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading our store environment and fostering a culture of inclusivity and customer connection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume a leadership role and take ownership of maximizing store business results by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Facilitate achievement of business results by role-modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.
  • Coach and provide feedback to team members to achieve segment success.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
  • Open and close the store proficiently.

  • Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent customer service and strong willingness to assist customer needs.
  • Motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Openness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
  • Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts, including closing shifts and weekends as required.
