The Near North District School Board is currently seeking applications for roles within its Educational Leadership Supervisor pool. This initiative aims to identify candidates for anticipated future openings in supervisory roles within school administration. Individuals in this pool will be considered for leadership positions that arise over the next few years. About Our Organization
The Near North District School Board is a public educational entity located in North Eastern Ontario. Our district is comprised of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering quality education that promotes lifelong learning through innovative and impactful educational experiences. We serve over 9,600 students, with approximately 6,600 enrolled in elementary education and nearly 3,000 in secondary education. Additionally, we take pride in offering alternative and continuing education programs throughout the region.
Our board celebrates the diversity of our student population, employing around 2,300 permanent and occasional staff members across 36 elementary, secondary, and alternative learning institutions. Geographically, we are one of the largest public school boards in Ontario, covering an extensive area.
