About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
    • Monitor and control expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and increase sales.
  • Team Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our team is working efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or hospitality.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Organized and reliable.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
