Job Summary

At GRIMACE &CO RESTAURANT LTD, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and safety are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Work Environment

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment
