About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthetist to join our team at the Eastern Regional Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and X-rays
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of anesthesiology
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Experience in a hospital setting, with a strong understanding of clinical medicine and anesthesiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
