Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Clairmont. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food products.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Operations and Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records and controlling costs.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service and Relations
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, promoting a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff alike.
- Administrative and Reporting
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Personal Suitability
