Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate processing and examination of accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparation and posting of various journal entries, assisting with accounting controls and oversight, compiling and organizing data for performance reports, managing cash transactions and payment processing, along with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
- The Accounting Assistant will also provide backup support for reception duties when required.
Essential Qualifications:
Prior experience in accounting and a solid grasp of accounting principles are essential. A keen attention to detail, proficiency with technology and IT systems, effective communication skills, a willingness to learn and enhance your understanding of the retail automotive sector, as well as the capability to prioritize tasks, maintain organization, and adhere to regular deadlines are also required.
Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or possess Permanent/Landed Immigrant Status.
