As a Senior Test Engineer at Arc'teryx Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, leveraging both manual and automated testing techniques to identify and report defects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and business analysts, to drive quality improvements and ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

The Test Engineering Team at Arc'teryx is a dynamic and collaborative group that works closely with Guest Services Technology teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be empowered to take ownership of your work, make decisions, and drive results. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from testing new features to improving existing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including manual and automated testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure product quality
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Manage and report on test execution progress, identifying and addressing issues or blockers
  • Lead activities of offshore QA teams, ensuring efficient process management and workflow execution
  • Work closely with business analysts and developers to ensure testing aligns with sprint timelines and quality standards
  • Champion quality guidelines and standards, providing feedback to improve processes
  • Continuously improve test engineering practices, including the adoption of new tools and methodologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent in a related technical field
  • 5+ years' experience in software QA, with a strong application of QA best practices
  • Strong experience in both manual and automated testing, including API and backend testing
  • Experience with test automation tools, such as TTA or Testim (Tricentis)
  • Experience with Agile project tracking tools, such as JIRA, and a strong grasp of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Passion for championing quality and driving continuous improvement
