The Faculty of Social and Community Services is seeking highly qualified part-time PhD professors to contribute to our dynamic academic environment.

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Psychology Professor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students by delivering engaging and impactful instruction in core psychology courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Ethics.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and fosters student success.
  • Implement adult education principles to create interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Leverage educational technologies to enhance student engagement and facilitate effective learning outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain current and relevant curriculum aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with program team members, faculty colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive academic community.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Psychology or Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of psychology.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
  • A strong commitment to student success and a passion for fostering academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
