We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Clerical Duties: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform various administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Provide information on public transportation options available to guests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude.
