Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Réseau de santé Vitalité. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment, including X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment, as well as computerized tomography (CT) scanners. You will also be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals materials to patients or to biological samples, and for training technicians, assistants, students, or interns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals materials to patients or to biological samples
  • Train technicians, assistants, students, or interns
  • Position patients
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Explain procedures and side effects of radiation
  • Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
  • Record and process patient data
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination
