Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rubber Moulder Operator to join our team at Produits American Biltrite Ltée. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing of rubber products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machinery: Set up, operate, and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding, and curing rubber materials or rubber products.
  • Product Inspection: Check and monitor product quality, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train or assist in the training of other workers to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Material Preparation: Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and organized.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Product Affixation: Affix seal or tags to approved products, ensuring that all products are properly identified and labeled.
  • Minor Repairs: Make minor adjustments or repairs to products, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Machinery Adjustments: Adjusting machinery and equipment to proper settings, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Defective Product Management: Mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycle, ensuring that all defective products are properly identified and handled.
  • Material Loading: Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil, and chemicals into machines, ensuring that all materials are properly loaded and prepared for production.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, ability to distinguish between colours, fast-paced environment.
