Job Summary

DELAFONTAINE INC. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a fabrication specialist role. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect and test welds.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with custom fabrication and metalworking.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.
