Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Standard Cabinets Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on shipping and receiving activities, including metrics on productivity and efficiency.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping and receiving process, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: Oversee the assignment and review of work tasks to ensure that all shipping and receiving activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure that shipping and receiving activities are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Plan and Organize Operational Logistics: Develop and implement plans to improve the operational logistics of our organization, including the coordination of shipping and receiving activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving role
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week
