Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Tie and secure plants, trees, and other landscape features to maintain a safe and visually appealing environment.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to promote healthy growth and maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy landscape.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris, to keep the work site clean and organized.
  • Remove litter and garbage, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed to maintain the landscape.
  • Lay sod or seed to establish new grass and promote healthy growth.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty and diversity of the landscape.
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth and maintain a vibrant landscape.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, including cutting grass and weeding.
  • Handle heavy loads, including topsoil and other materials.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Combine sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling to perform tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
