Job Summary:

Nikon Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Service Consignment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Microscope Solutions Division, you will be responsible for managing service consignment inventory and distribution, in-office repairs, service reporting, quality control, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of service consignment inventory, ensuring timely allocation and shipping of consignments.
  • Service Reporting: Develop and maintain a web-based reporting system for service and support activities, generating weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on consignments and repairs, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Logistics: Coordinate logistics for in-field installations, packing, and shipping of consignments and systems installations.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of consignments.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's in science preferred; Bachelor's with microscope experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows environment, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of SAP and computer software/hardware experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English required; French an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Conducted in a desk setting, warehouse environment, service bay, and up to 25% in the field with occasional overnight periods.
  • Exposure: Exposure to laser systems may be required.
