About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at NOGI SUSHI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Plate Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and other appliances.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at NOGI SUSHI, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
