We are seeking a highly skilled Press Operator to join our team at Planet Press Ltd. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our presses to ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Presses: Safely operate and maintain our presses to produce high-quality products.
- Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of our products to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to ensure smooth production and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Ability to work under pressure, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.

- Support for Persons with Disabilities: We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Support for Youths: We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: We facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: We provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers and offer phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
- Support for Visible Minorities: We apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
