About the Role

Gav Enterprises Ltd DBA. The Chinook Motel and Oasis Motor Inn is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

Inspect Sites and Facilities

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the motel and motor inn meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Recommend Additional Services

Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our high standards, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Assist Cleaners

Provide support and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

Coordinate Work Activities

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Leadership Experience

5-10 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Education and Certifications

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training and certifications are an asset.

Language and Communication

Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
