About the Role

Rising Cool Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are aligned with their needs and requirements.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that they are able to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.
About You
  • Leadership Experience: You will have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a facilities management or cleaning services environment.
  • Education: You will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, management, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: You will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of pressure.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and may be required to lift heavy objects.
