Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. As a key member of our financial services department, you will be responsible for providing analysis, reporting, and guidance on budgetary, financial, and enrolment information to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, including Excel, financial planning and analysis tools.
