About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at MAGIC SHADE PAINTERS INC. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Work Sites: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Concrete Placement and Finishing: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, and impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
  • Estimate and Plan: Estimate costs and materials, and plan work schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that our work meets the required standards.
