Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at Crescent Heights Wellness Clinic Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support to our organization in the areas of staffing, recruitment, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post job notices and advertisements, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Employee Relations: Review candidate inventories, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements.
  • Training and Development: Arrange staff training and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  • Support for Diverse Groups: Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
