Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Implement protocols to prevent accidents, ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and controlled use of medications and narcotics, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide clear and compassionate communication to residents, families, and colleagues, and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Skills and Experience: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
