Job Title: Security Operations Centre Guard

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Centre Guard to join our team at Bay Adelaide Centre in Downtown Toronto. As a Security Operations Centre Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating all systems in the Security Operations Centre, including communication systems, CCTV, access control, and fire panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and operate all systems in the Security Operations Centre
  • Provide clear and concise communication to security staff
  • Record all information in a detailed and factual manner
  • Follow communication guidelines issued by the client
  • Be familiar with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures
  • Have strong communication and customer service skills
  • Write detailed, factual, and concise incident reports
Requirements:
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
  • English (oral and written) fluency is a must
  • French (oral and written) fluency is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in security, by-law, parking enforcement - considered an asset
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
